As part of our commitment to the stewardship of our plant, CAWIRAN and
Shahrnaz Village Coop have pledged to participate in and sponsor an
annual Clean Up our Villages event to take place on April 22nd, better
known as Earth Day.

In
conjunction with the Women's
World Summit Foundation and Shahrnaz Village Coop, we celebrated Rural Women's Day on
October 15 in our annual Walnut Harvest.
On August 12, 2007, we joined with the international
community to celebrate the International
Youth Day.

the World Conservation Union's Sixth Regional
Conservation Forum took place May 22-25th, 2007, in Tehran on the
topic of:
Community-Centred Conservation: Linking Local and Global Knowledge.
